Today I went to my local Borders for what will probably be the last time. I feel sad -- this is the end of an era! On the other hand, I did manage to score a lot of books I've been meaning to read.

Today I went to the Borders near my house to take advantage of their going-out-of-business sale. The deals aren't super amazing yet -- most things were marked 20-30% off -- but I did score a few new books.

Day 12. Least favorite Austen heroine.

Poor Fanny Price! Nobody likes her, and I have to admit that I don't either. She has many good qualities, but the truth is, she doesn't really have a sense of humor, and she's just not very much fun.
